Welcome to Scot-Image

Scot-Image is the website of Scottish Landscape Photographer, David Robertson.

Viewing the website

The type of device you are viewing Scot-Image on will effect your viewing experience – the website will work fine on all screens but it is best seen on tablets and larger screens.

Navigating the website

The image gallery structure uses this format –

There are several ways to navigate the site, depending on whether you are simply browsing or, perhaps looking for images of a specific location.

  • Use the “SCOTLAND” button at the top of the screen to see an overview of the Scot-Image galleries beginning with the “Scotland” gallery. This button is not available on smaller screens and is best used for browsing.
  • Use the Menu button/hamburger (top right of all screens). It allows quick access to all districts and subjects.
  • Use the Search Form – available on all screens. For two or more tags use an “&”.  For example – castle & sea. The search is not case sensitive. If you are in a hurry, this is the quickest way to see if we have an image you need or not.
  • Breadcrumbs (what are they you might say!). Breadcrumbs are sequential links that show the gallery structure of the site. For example on the Glen Affric gallery page the following breadcrumb sequence will display – YOU ARE HERE: HOME \ SCOTLAND \ HIGHLAND \ INVERNESS \ GLEN AFFIC
